Frequently Asked Questions

We answer the most common questions about our products and services.

What types of wood do you use for floors?

We specialize mainly in oak and ash. Both species are characterized by high hardness, durability and beautiful grain. On special order, we also manufacture floors from other wood species.

Can I order a floor in a non-standard size?

Yes, we manufacture floors according to individual customer requirements. Possibility to realize any lengths, widths and thicknesses. Please contact us to discuss details.

What is the lead time for an order?

The standard lead time is 2-4 weeks from order confirmation. For larger or custom orders, the delivery time is determined individually.

Do you offer floor installation services?

We are a manufacturer, we do not directly provide installation services. However, we cooperate with experienced installation crews that we can recommend to our customers.

How do I maintain a wooden floor?

Oil-treated floors require regular renewal of the oil layer every 2-3 years, while lacquered floors only need to be wiped with a damp cloth. We recommend using special wood care products and avoiding excessive moisture.

Are the floors ready to install?

Yes, all our floors are factory-prepared – planed, sanded and protected with oil or lacquer. The customer receives a product ready for immediate installation.

Glossary of Terms

We explain the most important terms related to wooden floors.

Stave Parquet

Traditional parquet consisting of individual wooden staves (slats) that are laid in various patterns. The most popular patterns are herringbone, checkerboard or Hungarian herringbone.

Solid Board

A floor made entirely of solid wood, without glued layers. Characterized by high durability and the possibility of repeated sanding.

Engineered Board

A floor consisting of a top layer of solid wood (approx. 4-6 mm) and lower layers of plywood or cross-bonded wood. More dimensionally stable than solid board.

French Herringbone

A parquet laying pattern in which the staves are cut at a 45-degree angle, creating a characteristic arrow-like pattern. Considered one of the most elegant patterns.
